Observe how U.S. clinicians evaluate patients, develop differential diagnoses, coordinate care, and navigate complex healthcare systems.

Work through real-world and simulated cases designed to strengthen assessment, differential diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and management planning.

Where available, participants may receive educational exposure to electronic medical record workflows and/or training environments.

Eligible students may participate in structured quality-improvement or scholarly projects.

Practice reviewing literature, evaluating evidence, and applying clinical guidelines to patient scenarios.

Complete your selected clinical experience with an approved MHC Academy preceptor or educational site.
Complete assigned clinical reasoning cases and educational activities.
Meet with faculty or mentors for individualized feedback and career development.
Eligible participants may complete a QI, research, presentation, or evidence-based medicine project.
Receive guidance on CV development, personal statements, residency interviews, professional communication, and navigating the application process.
Receive structured feedback on your participation and educational progress.
Participants who meet program requirements receive an MHC Academy Certificate of Completion.
MHC Academy does not sell or guarantee letters of recommendation.
Letters are based on the faculty member’s independent assessment of the participant.
Participants seeking consideration for a letter should demonstrate consistent professionalism, meaningful participation, satisfactory performance, and completion of program requirements.
MHC Academy’s standard eligibility pathway may include:
* At least 80% completion of required educational activities
* Four coaching or mentorship sessions
* Satisfactory professionalism
* Completion of assigned cases
* Satisfactory faculty evaluation
Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee a letter.
This protects the credibility of both the student and the recommending clinician.
